The October Full Moon in Aries Tells Us to Take a Courageous Leap

On October 9, the Moon will mature into the leading and adventurous sign of Aries. When the Moon is in Aries, we are inspired to try something new, fresh and exciting. All that momentum now surrounds us. This is especially the case because a lot of forward motion is now coming front and center.

Mercury is now visible and Pluto will be waking up from its 5 month retrograde sleep. Pluto’s inertia itself signals that the time has finally come for further movement. That being said, it will be important to manage expectations of progress and be consistent with power struggles.

Aries-Libra Balancing Act

We can’t forget about the Sun in Libra in this story. While the Moon wants things to go its way, the Sun will have its own opinion. The Libra side for things will be strong but the one advocating justice will be peaceful. Venus, also working in Libra, will be very close to the Sun. Aries will be thinking about how it affects me, while Libra will be thinking about WE.

Chiron comes on strong once again

Chiron, the wounded healer, is another major player in the story of the October full moon. He is about to dance very close to the moon. The wounds and pains of the past may need to come to the surface. It can be uncomfortable and takes courage– but an injury or complaint needs to be addressed.

As you begin your release with this month’s full moon, make sure you take a good look at your scales. Be courageous and brave as you make important choices to balance them out a little better. Decide to take action and make sure you consider yourself as well as others in the decision you want to make.

Life is all about choices after all. And now an important choice needs to be made.

Mercury has entered its shadow zone on the 25th of Virgo – to look back and complete our transformation into Libra and Virgo
