There are reasons to choose to stay in hotels that go beyond a nice view and small soap and shampoo bottles. Mostly, it’s because I like to spend time in a place that has some semblance of my real life. A hotel room may have a little personality, but none of it is mine. I don’t have any distractions at home – bric-a-brac that needs culling, paper that needs shredding, piles of books and file folders that need refilling. The best hotels are in remote locations where internet access is extremely limited, so I can’t distract myself from the electronic clutter. Just… me. Whatever it is
This week, Mercury in Virgo Makes Last in the Order of Trines to Pluto in Capricorn (Oct 6, 2022, 8:55 pm PDT). The first two, August 22 and September 27, remind us of the importance of what we tell the world – and ourselves – of who we are. This last aspect rewards that introspection with the focus and strength that comes from removing the traps and messages that trouble us, overwhelm us, and distract us from our true purpose.

After being retrograde from 29 April, Pluto turns straight This week (October 8 at 2:56 pm PDT, 26º06′ Capricorn) on Sabian symbol 27 Capricorn: a mountain shrine,
Pluto on this Sabian symbol recalls a grim story I heard in an episode of the Omnibus podcast. It looks like the path to the top of Mount Everest is now populated by, if you like, frozen bodies of hikers who don’t make it to the top. They are buried, frozen monuments to the real risk of effort, and a harrowing reminder that reaching any worthwhile goal is never easy.
There comes a moment in any life journey when things get serious. I mean, Mount Everest not serious, but still… moments when Pluto changes direction when something stops us in our tracks and reminds us of our weaknesses, our mortality, and the harsh reality of our experience of futility.
We celebrate the stories of those who made it to the top of the mountain, but the reality is that not everyone makes it. And this is the story of Pluto in Capricorn from 2008 when it entered this sign. As Pluto reaches the end of Capricorn, we are now getting into the home stretch. The top of the mountain is in sight.
As Pluto approaches the end of this very earthly and ambitious sign, it may become clear that we’re not really going to reach the height of the mountain we started climbing when Pluto crossed Capricorn all those years ago. had entered. But maybe it was the wrong mountain, and maybe now we’re in a better position to reach the summit. Correct One.

The newly wed couple are dining together at their favorite restaurant. They spy an elderly couple a few tables away, quietly eating their dinner. “We’ll never be like this again,” they whispered to each other at what looked like the cold nostalgia of long acquaintances.
But speaking as someone with a Moon in Gemini, who likes to talk more than anything – and my husband’s Gemini is on the rise, so we’ll never be short of things to talk about – Honestly, after thirty years of being together, you have very little to say. You develop shorthands with each other, and with so much shared history you can observe something going on around you, exchange glances with slightly raised eyebrows, and without one Words can make you laugh.
Sabian symbol for Aries Poornima (Oct 9, 2022, 1:55pm PDT, 16º32′) 17 is Aries, Two prime spinners sitting in silence. maybe it Is a sad image. Maybe they are bored and not interested in communicating with each other. But maybe they don’t need to say that much to understand each other.
Aries, in any event, is a sign of action rather than talking. This lunar phase is the half-point of the gestation cycle that began with the new moon in Aries on April 11, 2021. We’re exactly halfway through the story that began on that tough, gritty New Moon, which featured a close square from the Sun and Moon to Pluto, highlighting the most independent qualities of Aries. At this full moon—which is a more comfortable distance from Pluto—we may feel a little more relaxed, more inclined to return to that prickly freedom.
Sun symbol in Libra on this full moon. is on a retired sea captain, Another solitary image. Is he lonely, or lonely, happy in his own company, satisfied with his achievements? Are spinners silent because they understand each other deeply, or not at all? There is freedom, and then there is loneliness. It is a full moon to consider the difference between the two and adjust the parameters of intimacy accordingly.
