September 25, 2022: New Moon in Libra – Ruby Slipper Astrology

Libra new moon (1 degree, 3:35 p.m. EDT) opposes Jupiter Rx (3 degrees) in Aries. So we have a new chapter in face-to-face relationships and all Libra themes (fairness, balance, projection, presence). Due to Jupiter Rx opposition, we can expect some exaggerated starts that veer towards an extreme. There may be amplified calls for justice or greater hopes that are projected outwards.

Things may start off on a very positive note, although it is important to remember that Jupiter inflates everything (positive and negative). So there is also the potential for something to be extremely unfair and unbalanced as the previous occasion/legal case/lesson is revisited (regressive).

Jupiter can also bring luck, so one who starts may be oddly lucky. But all oppositions to Jupiter run the risk of overdoing it, so as you progress, try to find the middle position as you will start from far away (too much, too favorable, too indulgent). Keep track of what’s being shown – are you giving it your all or pinning your hopes on someone else? Is someone offering you a role you didn’t ask for?

For some, there may be a reversal of fate. Jupiter in Aries was last at this degree around the beginning of June, so watch out for a possible flip from that date.

Whatever it is, know that this one new The Moon therefore has a lot of room to turn things around. Ideally, you want to rebalance this situation and that will probably be the reason for all that happens—getting things fair again, finding justice, moderating your relationships. The theme of reflection is emphasized with this sign, so consider that what you are facing is a reflection of your energy.

Mercury in Virgo is applying for a conjunction with Rx Venus (September 26 to be exact) and Venus rules this new Moon. So there is an additional gift in the form of a beneficial message or understanding – a voice or second glance from the past can give good news (a practical truth). Saying it again with a little refinement of the description could land you (and anyone else?) on a new page.

Mercury has entered its shadow zone on the 25th of Virgo – to look back and complete our transformation into Libra and Virgo
