[6:00] Mercury turns retrograde at 8:38 pm, 8’55’ min at Libra, at Sabian sign Three old masters hanging in the art gallery, Mercury is retrograde since October 1, returning to Virgo on September 23 and re-entering Libra on October 11. Take a step back and think before you act; Watch out for the “gotcha”.
[8:55] This retrograde Mercury rules Mars in Gemini, which will be retrograde in late October – so both of these planets are probably feeling quite unstable.
[10:05] Today the Moon is in Pisces. In many ways, it is like the balsamic phase of the Moon; These are days of relaxation and healing, meditation and spiritual discovery.
[10:26] Moon opposes Venus in Virgo at 6:39 am and squares Mars at 4:08 pm. Venus in Virgo likes to be busy, but with Mercury retrograde, the lord of Virgo, we should stop and collect our thoughts. slow down and relax.

[13:20] What is the difference between designing a lunar ritual for a new moon versus a full moon?
[14:20] Simone prefers to observe the new moon in a relatively solitary and contemplative manner, often by making a collage. Set intentions based on the new moon sign and which house is in your birth chart.
[17:45] The full moon is an expression of what was planted on the new moon. This is a good time to gather with others, go out physically and enjoy the moon and explore your feelings.
[19:30] The full moon is related to relationships because the Sun and Moon in opposite signs have the ability to bring balance.
[20:00] Embrace the upcoming Pisces full moon, “The Wine Moon” or Harvest Moon, with a glass of wine and a gathering of friends. But beware the Moon conjunction Neptune!
[22:50] The full moon coincides with the last new moon of that zodiac about six months ago.

Mercury has entered its shadow zone on the 25th of Virgo – to look back and complete our transformation into Libra and Virgo

The shadow region is defined by the period where a planet turns retrograde, and where it goes directly after the retrograde period. In this case, Mercury turns retrograde on 9th September into Libra. It will retrograde back to the 25th of Virgo, where it stabilizes directly on 2nd October, the birthdays of Mahatma Gandhi and Groucho Marx. It casts a shadow zone between 25 Virgo and 9 Libra, and on August 21 Mercury enters 25 Virgo, the degree where it will go SD in early October.
