delayed suffering. elsa elsa
hi elsa,
Have you had any experiences of delayed sadness? Do you think there is an astrological relationship that leans more towards the sign, location?
D from Croatia
Hi, D. I’ve never considered this before but I have some ideas.
First, I doubt you can recognize this tendency from a birth chart because the way a person reacts to loss will change over the course of their lifetime. The type of damage is another variable.
- Death of a loved one?
- divorce?
- Loss on the career front?
- How about downright disillusionment with a life of loss in a dream?
- loss of freedom
Taking a look at that list, I see associations with the 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th houses, the minimum, Then consider the maturity of a person as well as what you are experiencing in that moment. My guess is that delayed grief will most likely be shown by transit.
For example, a young child may lose a parent to death or divorce. Let’s say they are two years old. It is likely years before their loss is understood. Abused children may be in a similar boat. You can walk fine and some transit comes along and it hits you.
What transits can trigger a person; Moon or Saturn in the fourth house comes to mind immediately, but there are many other possibilities.
to answer your question marks and appointments; There may be some play in these things, but I’d be inclined to look at the transit for an explanation. Two things immediately come to mind.
At first, a person may postpone mourning because they are in a state of being overwhelmed. I see this all the time. People will make many difficult transits. It’s like giving money to ten people and you can only pay five of them. Obviously, payment to the other five will be delayed.
The second common scenario would be denial of harm or denial of the magnitude of the loss. take the rejection. A person can deal with it well, as long as they don’t. Rejection #140 does in them; and strike them with a wave that knocks them off their feet.
What do you know about delayed grief?
