Weekend Love Forecast – Tag Team Mars (in Gemini)

On Friday night, the Mercury-ruled Gemini Moon sextiles Jupiter and moves to Venus overnight. What a sparkling mood! Full of juiciness and fiery delight. It is curious and driven by the pursuit of pleasure. And we’re likely to get something, or a lot… satisfactory. If we take that bait, it also feels good to us.

Throughout the night Mars moves to join the Moon in Gemini. This leaves Venus-ruled Taurus, earthy and stagnant, for the airy, changeable zone of Gemini and Mercury. Where action has stalled, we now seek a two-pronged approach to enliven the space.

Gemini Mars could be a bit of a relay race, or perhaps more appropriately – a tag team. It’s full of curiosity in action, a sprint (if at times uncertain). Where Taurus has had a long run, Gemini Mars has two sets to help out. Under this Mars, sometimes it helps to do a side quest while the first line of action rests: twice the results, both at full heads of steam.

On Saturday night, the mood of the Gemini Moon stabilizes through the Trinetra to Saturn in Aquarius. We get a basis for that widely swinging focus. A mental experiment or the ability to test two different possibilities can get us back on track emotionally. is this real?

Mercury is in Virgo, the second sign it rules. It is the practical application of logic to attitudes and the senses, and it adds further consistency to the process. Except… the fact that on Fridays and Saturdays it opposes Neptune in Pisces (exactly early Sunday) and Pluto in Capricorn (precise Mondays). Don’t let wishful thinking, gossip or secondhand or false tales, or a manipulative or charismatic person get in the way of “just the facts, ma’am.”

However, in real life, this is simply not a fact. We also have service, compassion and dire consequences. If we fail to take action because of doubts about the data or motives, the reality still lies ahead. So your mileage is yours to tabulate. Try not to take ownership. Do it with all your might! But double check it with some real time watching things. Go right upstairs and check.

On Sunday, the Moon moves through the end of Gemini squared Mercury-Neptune (previous exact) opposition and Leo moves to the sextile end of the Sun. It’s a good mood that we already know what we can add to the portfolio going forward, and there’s dead-end information to add fuel to our pride in our ability to do so. Don’t forget to take internal credit for managing to stay in the game. If you’re here, you’re winning. There is no shame in losing, but take stock of what you have got. It is now part of your arsenal.

Night time moves the Moon into Cancer, under its own rule. Throughout the night it goes square with Jupiter. It has been a full and exhausting weekend with that sultry, pounding heart; We still need more.
