I am in a study group on Yoga Vashistha which is a

At first we easily fall into the illusion of
Our desires for more money, more beauty, perfect
The connection and attachment and exploration with our families
fame and recognition. These are all part of the fleeting
Relative world and eventually leads to disillusionment.
How much can we get caught in cravings like Rahu and how?
Caught in illusion can we live?

Can we take our money with us when we die? isn’t it
The world is now showing us how quickly things can change?
Rich merchants suddenly arrived during the Gulf War
They were fighting over pieces of bread in the desert when they ran
His war-torn country.

Our body is always changing, and we all succumb to it
The body decays due to the arrival of Saturn in old age. So far
How much money is spent on enhancing our looks
Hopefully if we think we’re beautiful enough we can
Attract the right partner and overcome our poor self esteem.

Many feel that their life will be complete if they
can only find his soul mate and achieve ideal
But even if there is a relationship, give 1 year and

You’ll complain about yourself to your friends
partner’s flaws.

Rahu and Surya want recognition and more fame and
situation but when the next eclipse comes, we can easily get

never left alone or at peace with your sexual scandals or
divorce. Just look at Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.
Lord Rama had the gift of wealth and family and
good looks and fame and achievement but at a young age
He realized the futility of all this and wanted more.
The first step on the path is self-examination which is what

If we know we get caught up in our desires

Are we ready to take action to make our lives different?
I’m always inspired by Nike’s slogan: “Just do it.” This

We stay stuck, we’re just gonna suffer or come back
Same dreams and same illusions again. How
Do you want to be stuck in self-delusion for a long time?
When will maturity and real quest come?
truth? get up. yes enjoy but remember we are
