When Paul met John, a global musical change lasting an all time

by Robert Wilkinson

While I know that the world “began to change forever” over several days, it turns out that July 6, 1957 was actually one of those days. There was a meeting that day that ultimately affected hundreds of millions of us globally.

As it turns out, July 6, 1957, was the day the two teenagers met at St Peter’s Church in Fyte in Woolton, Liverpool, England. His name? “65 years ago today, Sergeant Pepper introduced the band to play, they’ve never gone out of style, so won’t you come along for a while, and let me introduce you to John’s only pair. See you at Paul’s fair!” News from:

Paul McCartney and John Lennon first met on July 6, 1957, at St Peter’s Church Fete in Woolton, Liverpool, England. Lennon was playing in his band, Quarry Men, and a mutual friend and occasional bandmate, Evan Vaughn, brought McCartney along and introduced the two.

A plaque on the church’s exterior wall, which was heavily photographed by Beatles fans, tells the story of their meeting, and “as John recalled, ‘It was the day I met Paul, that He had started moving. ,

started moving? Do you think? By October 1962 they were already (as JL called it) “topper most popper”, and by April 1964 their songs had occupied all top five slots on the charts. No artist in the world has ever done this before or after.

From the Beatlesbible web site, John Lennon meets Paul McCartney.

PS – The graveyard in that church inspired “Eleanor Rigby”.

PPS – While I don’t have the exact timing, a terrific chart for the time being shows some quite interesting (and global!) developments.

A brief snapshot: It was a Saturday, the story goes, with John playing in the moving lorry around 2 p.m., and then replaying Saturday night dances. It states that a bandmate introduced Paul to John after the first gig, when they were setting up their equipment to play the second gig, so the chart had to be between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. The website lists “The Beatles Bible” as 3:30 p.m., but of course that’s an estimated time. At 3:30 the Ascendant is placed on 4 Scorpio and MC on 17 Leo, Moon rises on 10 Scorpio 51. At 4:30 PM Asc 14 was Scorpio and MC 2 was Virgo, Moon still rising on 12th. 11 Scorpio 24.

On a related note, I also found that Paul’s singing debut took place on October 18, 1957.

So here is the chart at 3:30 pm, knowing it could have happened a little later. It has also been recorded that when John and Pete Shotten were on their way home after the 8 p.m. show, the first time they discussed inviting Paul to join the band. At 10 PM Asc 23 was Capricorn and MC was 29 Scorpio, Moon was at 14 Scorpio 27. Pete went to Paul a few weeks later, and told him he was in the band.

Worth noting in the 3:30 p.m. chart is that Venus and Mars, rulers of As and Dsc, are exalted and combined in Leo, and the Sun, ruler of Leo Stellium, making Jupiter a quintile for Saturn. And the Sun is dichotomous Saturn. This makes three points of a 5-pointed star!! Add the Moon rise to the fifth Pluto and Mercury bisepti Neptune in the 10th house, and luck was in motion. I am sure that ASC can be corrected through events in the history of the Beatles. (Click on the image to enlarge it)

On a final note, it is interesting that the chart has a Sun in Cancer and a Moon in Scorpio, given that Ringo Starr’s Sun is at 15 Cancer and George Harrison’s Moon is at 8 Scorpio. When John and Paul met, Cancer and Scorpio, huge implications for their future bandmates they hadn’t met yet, were hinted at at their meeting. When we add Ringo’s Stellium in early Leo and George Harrison’s Jupiter in 16 Cancer, it seems a perfect fit for “the beginning of the Beatles.”

Last year I had a great 45 minute documentary called The making of the Beatles! But it has disappeared and a search shows nothing but a link to “go back”. However, we still have this 51-minute documentary titled The Making of the Beatles’ first US tour by the Maysles brothers.
