Venus opposite Pluto – death of lover or spouse
A client asked me if her husband was going to die. He had read somewhere that the Venus Pluto aspect in his chart indicates the same.
I’m pretty sure, Stephen Arroyo mentioned this possibility around Venus Pluto. I’m sorry I can’t reference the book. I read it twenty five years ago, but I’m pretty sure he was talking specifically about women with Venus to oppose Pluto in his chart. Arroyo was a great astrologer who only wrote about things he had seen firsthand. I have only seen what he has.
I am not talking about women who lose their husbands due to age or natural reasons. I’m talking about painful separation. I am talking of women who find their husband dead through suicide. I’m talking about women who wake up one day to find that their husband is gone, never to be heard from again. I am talking about the end of your love.
I know the stories of many women and women who have suffered like this. This is my packed 8th house. One thing I’ve noticed is that if the opposition is dominant (say, lying across the ascendant/ancestry), it’s entirely possible that this happens to a woman more than once!
Something similar can happen in the horoscope of women who kill their husband. Their spouses keep dying, yes? But it is important to know that This is not the only way to reveal this aspect.
With Venus opposing Pluto, you are guaranteed intensity in your interactions with others. Also, if you are 40 or 50 years old and this has never happened, you are probably at a lower risk than a 20 year old girl.
Also, some people suffer the traumatic loss of a partner when they a lot of Youth. Like a twin whose twin dies as a child.
People wonder whether the transit (Pluto opposes natal Venus) puts a person at risk for it. It does but it is only one possibility for many. I can’t see living in fear, because you have something like this in your chart. There is nothing you can do about it.
If you wake up one morning and your husband is not in bed. And if you go to your backyard, open the shed and find it hanging, you can’t do anything.
I know this for sure. I was out with the couple the night the husband took his own life. We said goodnight at midnight. My phone rang at 6 am when his wife found him dead. The woman had lost her first wife to suicide five years ago. Things like this grab your attention.
There is one more point to make. Jackie Kennedy lost her husband in a very painful way. He does not have the sight of Venus on Pluto. It just goes to show you that there are secrets in life..
Is Venus aspecting Pluto in your horoscope? Have you ever suffered a painful separation from a loved one?
