Venus is enjoying a comfortable journey in the initial degrees of Cancer this week. It is a nice, pleasant and caring place for Venus to live inside. Venus, of course, is never rude or demanding or — well, I guess you can see, I’m setting you up here. There is only one small issue at hand here. Any aspect of Venus-Jupiter can cause too much sweetness and affection and food breaks. But Venus square Jupiter is a particularly difficult energy to handle properly – even though Venus and Jupiter generally have a reputation for being “nice people.” Mood and appetite will be a bit more demanding this week and next week as the square between these two planets will be completed. So make sure you try to hang onto your heart (and/or your wallet) this week and next week at least.

Meanwhile, Mars (which represents sexual urges) is still making its way through Taurus. Mars is considered to be debilitated in Taurus, which means that Mars in Taurus can be particularly demanding of handling. This is especially the case now. Mercury has entered its shadow zone on the 25th of Virgo – to look back and complete our transformation into Libra and Virgo
