Saturn: Protection and Protection

In a client session earlier today, I talked about how one of my favorite things about Saturn—the full moon ruled by Saturn—is that Saturn can help clarify who or what to protect. is needed, and who or what needs to be protected.

In your own life, you may be making choices about what to preserve and what to be protected. Doing so will mean doing what is most important to your survival, especially in terms of stability, security, structure and finances.

The instability and inventive thinking of a planet at loss

The Moon is technically at a loss in Capricorn and so this full moon can reveal sources of instability, or highlight cases where matters are not safe and secure.

As soon as any weak points appear, you will be able to decide whether attending to it is even important enough, or whether letting a particular thing shatter and fall apart is the most relevant option for you at this age and stage of life. .

A planet in loss is depleting its normal resources and thus has to be creative to reuse the resources and find out what is on hand. This kind of frugal approach may serve you well this week as your usual support or resources may be less available. If so, how can you use what you have or have on hand to get you through?

Pluto, Decay and Change

Decay is a normal and integral part of the life cycle. And at times astrology can point to the decay, release or end of something. This full moon could be one of those times.

This full Moon is intensely close to Pluto which can add to the potential for drama and change. The birth/death/rebirth cycle is also activated.

The full Moon so close to Pluto means that undercurrents may appear or a hidden inspiration may come to light. Emotions can be compelling or all-consuming.

The Power of Productivity: Earth Sign Ruled by Saturn

It is possible that this full moon in Capricorn could also indicate a productive period, where you focus on practical matters and work diligently through your to-do list.

It can be important to take control of the structure and form of your life and the place you live in. A clear plan can help you stay focused and keep pace.

The full moon is on 21 Capricorn on Wednesday 13 July or Thursday 14 July depending on your location.
