Chiron Notes: Chiron in Aries Retrograde – Jessica Shepherd

what hurts? Which sting is making you sad, frustrated or angry? It’s in the air…

today, Chiron in Aries runs retrograde.

It gives many of us a chance to reflect on Groundhog Day type wounds. These painful patterns repeat because we are only halfway to understanding how to soothe the pain, or stop the pattern from causing suffering in our lives.

What to do? Integrated.

Integration is the process we do; We actively engage in self-awareness, recognize where we are in conflict, where we lie in blame, and boldly and more truly set out to see where we differ from ourselves. where we are torn apart by deep wounds that are to be named, valued and felt (where we feel: abandoned, rejected, violated, rejected, neglected, not loved).

Through deep acceptance, by boldly feeling pain and telling the truth about it, we embrace those self parts and incorporate them into our identity. In this way we become whole. This is how we stop re-enacting the repetitive and painful cycle of suffering.

Chiron and the Healing Journey The best book about Chiron. Chiron is positioned over my natal Moon-Chiron conjunction, so you can bet I’m feeling it right now. I’m curling up with this wonderful book, and publishing my reflections in my Just Love journal.

Here’s what I’m personally looking for again:

Chiron has repeating patterns that feel like we can never achieve the healing solution.

This repetitive cycle entails a wounding cycle where we are aware of injury or pain but feel unable to prevent it from happening again.

These wounds feel binding, and are very difficult to heal for a variety of reasons.

-Once we learn that we cannot satisfy these needs, wants, wants, we can stop demanding it from our own self (Aries), or we do not know that it is our own Because we weren’t shown how – that creates inner conflict and suffering.

-In this area, described by Chiron’s placement, we can feel displeased, rejected, neglected, abandoned, and/or isolated.

-we do easily get caught in the cycle of blame In this area, by mistaking the symptom for the real cause, we tend to blame the person/object/issue/conflict/difference instead of looking at the real problem – which is actually an internal psychological complex that we have been carrying with us since childhood. Huh. More deeply, we are trying to heal/address/heal the wound of childhood. This is the reason why we keep feeling sad again and again. It requires both courageous truth-telling and the courage to feel the pain.

-If this wound involves too much defense for its sense/naming, we may have to “take down our walls” more slowly over time.

-You may need to incorporate a number of treatment tools and techniques to understand and heal it.

-The whole process at work is meant to allow pain, and your limited understanding, which bothers/annoys you in place of greater understanding, self-awareness… and therefore freedom of choice. You may get to the point where the problem no longer essentially controls your life and plagues you, even if it happens over and over again. Commit: feeling the pain (remember: it’s only pain, it won’t kill you), and then examining it with more honesty and compassion, And you’ll get there.

-A harsh truth that can set you free: This painful thing may not go away completely, if ever (a chronic illness, incurable disease, difference, disability, for example)… but your suffering may be around it. . Your wish, to figure out how to do it for yourself, is key.

-Those of us who have a strong Chiron sign in our birth charts often become healers and teachers. For us, pain/gap is not only temporary, it is a lifelong path – and working on it continuously is a way for the soul to feel self-realization and fulfillment.

Ultimately, this process blossoms into wisdom, self-love, and the satisfaction of living a self-conscious, authentic, fulfilling life.

Love yourself, friends. All parts of you!
