Your ascendant describes the first impression you make

They say it’s important that your first contact with someone is positive. That someone’s first impression on you is hard to undo. I don’t know that this is true.

In some cases this is true! There are people who make a strong first impression and it stays with me till the end of time. But generally speaking, it is not so. My thoughts and feelings about a person develop as I get to know them better over time.

The Ascendant and the planets in your birth chart describe your first impression. You can say that the rest of the chart describes you.

If your vibe (your Ascendant) is very different from everyone else’s, it can be hard for people to classify you.

I guess I am like this. At this point in my life, I don’t expect anyone to know me deeply. I could be wrong about this and I wouldn’t mind if I was. I guess I’ll see what happens when Pluto leaves my 12th house. Right now, it is very difficult for me to reach. I think just being friendly and cordial is enough.

Update in 2022.

Someone commented on this post today who brought it to my attention. I mentioned that Pluto was entering my 12th orbit. Now this is the combination of my Ascendant in my first house. It’s overwhelming on so many levels and it’s definitely not the first impression I would love to make!

Mercury has entered its shadow zone on the 25th of Virgo – to look back and complete our transformation into Libra and Virgo
