June 3~10th

I am only one, but I am one. I can not do everything, but I can do something. And what I cannot do, I will not let it interfere with what I can do. , Edward Everett Hale

On Friday (or Thursday) June 3, Mercury is finally directly positioned at 26º Taurus 05′. And just a day later on 4th June, Saturn is retrograde at 25º Aquarius 15′. They are almost exactly square to each other. What’s even more exciting is that they’ve been catalysing the recent lunar eclipse since May 16, which was at 25′ Scorpio 17′. In both the fixed signs, Mercury and Saturn are located on the nodal axis and the point of recent eclipses.

Eclipses can remain in effect for weeks and months after they occur, not only because of the upheaval in our lives, but because of the effects and consequences of what is being revealed. These are turning points that can change the paradigm and turn long-term consequences head-on. The South Node in Scorpio rules over things that are often dark, frightening, and overwhelming: death, torture, addiction, mental illness. Things that are taboo are unimaginable and are usually ignored or avoided. Things that fill us with fear and foreboding. It’s what we don’t want to deal with, but we must: difficult choices, adult decisions, inevitable consequences. Bitter truth

It can often feel like we are filled with a plethora of information during eclipse season. And yet, while Mercury is retrograde, we didn’t necessarily have the specific facts we needed to make informed decisions. Normally clarity resumes when Mercury stations are visible again. The answers are simple. But with Mercury square Saturn, although we can see things very clearly, we feel stuck in our tracks, interrupted, delayed, and blocked by circumstances or others.

When Saturn is in retrograde, it makes it all clear what is sustainable and what is not. We allow ourselves to say no more, set boundaries, and shy away from obligations that have become too difficult. This is also when others may be doing the same, and are more likely to back down from agreements, or not tell us. And as we become more aware of what is or is not possible, we are forced to regroup and go back to drawing. group. The plans need to be revised, reworked and rescheduled within the reality of the new parameters being established.

Because of this it can often feel like we need to take two steps back before moving forward again. And it may seem like we have to go back to the old territory we thought we were already in. But there are details that need to be addressed. Practical considerations should be sorted out. Big decisions have to be taken.

Saturn will be retrograde until 23 October, and in the months in which Saturn is in its retrograde phase, we are being asked to internalize some of the more positive traits of Saturn, such as: patience, attention to detail, organization, self-restraint, perseverance Persistence, perseverance and self-esteem. We have to do this when we are faced with and neutralized the inhabitants of Saturn, the things that freeze us in our tracks, and freeze us with fear; not being able to relinquish control; guilty feeling; attachment to the past that is no longer there; pessimism; Doubt and stagnation. Shani can fill us with negativity, if we focus only on what we cannot do. But Shani can also strengthen us, when we are able to face things objectively and focus not only on what can be done, but on what needs to be done. In the months in which Saturn is retrograde, we have the opportunity to grow in ways we might not have thought possible, develop our leadership skills, and have a deeper sense of what it means to be responsible, and step up to the plate.

As the Mercury station is direct on Friday, it is also Neptune in Pisces and trine Pluto in Capricorn. In order to serve our purpose and be more effective, we need to release things that are no longer sustainable and helpful and can actually hold us back from growing and developing. It takes courage to face our fears and accept the consequences of decisions. But Mercury along with Neptune and trine Pluto are also asking us to focus on the things we can do to move toward our ideals. We are able to grow and grow. And so Mercury is turning its back on the future, even in the face of extraordinary challenges. A future that holds greater promise and fulfillment, if we are willing to make the hard work and sacrifices necessary to create it.
