Get back in your energy – Jessica Shepherd

Whether there’s been a flurry of energy and mental activity, triggered by someone else, or your own emotions, it’s easy to go sideways energetically on a few days. :-/ If you suddenly find yourself here… you are definitely out of your own energy field.

Much has been said/written about “mental protection”, meaning protecting oneself from something or something negative, or unwanted. However, approaching it as if it is something outside of you will be problematic. Mainly because of this law: Energy always follows your focus and intention.

You nourish the energy with your awareness.

Here’s the riddle: You, being a very sensitive + conscious soul, you not only notice this distraction… you can’t notice it anymore! What to do? The moment you recognize that you are trapped in something external, instead of focusing your awareness on where you do not want to be (the external issue, that feels bad), focus on where you do ( Back to you, feeling good).

Honestly, the best way to protect your energy / FEEL GOOD would be to let your energy fully inhabit it. To come back to myself.

There are many ways to do this. Here’s one:

Stop thinking when your mind “goes there…” so does your whole energy field. Recognize that unwanted energy goes on and on.

Drop it in your body. Feel what is going on inside, even if it feels uncomfortable. Your body is your sensitive friend; It’s only because you are sensitive and want to feel good again.

– Imagine your energy as a color – what color is it? Now, broadcast that color from your crown chakra into the ground, or from ground to crown, whichever you prefer. Invite your color lamp into your muscles and viscera. Visualize massaging this color into your energy field with your awareness. You can also enjoy watching your complexion as the liquid light pours from the crown to the ground. Repeat until your color is nice and saturated and strong, and the other colors (energy that are not yours) have dissolved.

– Claim your energetic space out loud, saying: This is my energy.

– Take up space: I’m allowed to take space. I am allowed to be in my energy.

– Give yourself permission to do the above: This is self-care. take your time. Be kind to yourself.
