Weekend Love Forecast – It’s All About Venus, All About “ME”

The Venus-ruled Taurus Moon pallas conjunct Athena and Juno on Friday night as Venus passes through the 29th degree of fiery Aries. The mood is calculated and driven… to lust.

Lust doesn’t have to be just for sex. It can also be for control or power. This is especially the case because Venus keeps its previous exact square to Pluto. It is at least the tremors of these desires. But it can also happen for sex.

Then on Saturday morning, Venus moves into Taurus under its rule. Less open control and movement, greater desire for acquisition and luxury. However, with Uranus in the sign, these luxuries look a bit different and may be less satisfying than the conventional for their newness. Think “acquired taste,” but may still become your favorite.

Saturday night’s Taurus Moon moves through the North Node, crossing the emotional awakening of the last two moons (eclipses). It is possible to tune in your wish compass with respect to the result. On Sunday morning the Taurus Moon conjuncts retro Mercury and trine Pluto. Talk about (or write or artistically express) the different perspectives you’re exposed to, what they mean to you on a heart and gut and throat level. Heck, dance about it; Mars-Jupiter also support it.

In the afternoon, the Moon moves into Gemini and goes sextile with Jupiter and Mars, so there are plenty of opportunities for mental, social and verbal dancing as well. Broadcast your heart.

Have the ability to create physical or conceptual art that is viral now but completely viral later. Two jumps.

The Gemini Moon spends the rest of the day (and night) moving with the Sun closer to the new moon, right at the beginning of Monday. Their first applied aspect is a square to Juno, and Mercury is slowing directly onto the station. So ownership or competitive instincts boil in the background and certainly indicate that it is best to wait for cooler heads to prevail. It’s possible to undo yourself, so just be aware.

A good use of this new beginning (but somehow still waiting) is using that passion to find creative flow. Immerse yourself in Artistic Expression (DO) and wait for a better wave… then drop in and surf when it comes… later.

Gemini isn’t the best “later” so we’ll see.
