First Quarter Moon 18º Leo May 8, 2022 – New Pattern Astrology

Between two eclipses
In this current first quarter lunar phase, we are at the midpoint between two eclipses. As far as events and conflicts in our lives are concerned, the stakes are a bit high during the eclipse season. Especially if the planets of your birth are in the same position as the eclipse, which are currently in Taurus and Scorpio.
Eclipses are famous for the start of big changes and grand opportunities, and somehow on the other side of eclipse season, we can feel very different and live in a different way (at the end of May.) It’s like a reset. which comes every six months to clean the house and move you towards your destiny (the house of your psyche, ie).
The last eclipse season was played in November and December of 2021. Can you remember what major changes or events happened in your life soon enough to change the direction of your life?
What’s different about this current cycle is that we have Uranus in the square of Saturn, along with eclipses. With Uranus and Saturn strongly influenced by the stage, we can expect the unexpected to appear in ways that represent our deepest existential instincts and our most fundamental needs and desires. These are Taurus/Scorpio cases.
Uranus is a force of revolution that is often preceded by shock and destruction already established to make way for the new. Saturn represents entities, what is law, and what is ordered by man. When the two come together, it is the force of intense tension between the established and the progress, between the traditional and the revolutionary, and between the old patterns and the new methods. As we can see, there’s a clear example of what’s going on with Rowe vs. Wade. In addition to the impact each of us may have in our own lives, conflicts affecting the deepest and core personal issues for each of us may require revelations and changes.
The Taurus/Scorpio axis reminds us of our innate vulnerability as emotional beings and that we are completely dependent on each other. We need, and we have. We need what others need, and they have what we need. Things like money, food, shelter, knowledge, physical contact, companionship, love, compassion and care, and in times like these, I am reminded of the value of decency, generosity, consideration, respect, and respect. All these are essentially valuable resources, which can serve to balance the many great conflicts of mankind.
May the heart of humanity be healthy in a collective revolution of peace towards one another.
sincerely,
jessica don
