Rare Ever, Intact Trojan War Mosaic Found in Syria and Astrology
I’ve always loved Greek myths. The story of the Trojan War is very famous. Archaeologists in Syria have discovered a wonderfully intact mosaic depicting the Trojan War with the Amazons that fought alongside them. What was once a myth is now considered a real historical event. Most myths are based on real things.
“April 24, 1184 BC, Greek forces invaded the city of Troy, marking the end of the Trojan War in modern-day Turkey. Here is the astrology chart for that date and the Discovery Today chart by Transit. Note that it is for this date. Uranus is the return year, once every 84 years
,The war had broken out a decade earlier when Helen had left her husband Menelaus, King of Sparta, for Paris in Troy after the goddess Aphrodite made her ‘fall in love’ with him.
Menelaus persuades his brother Agamemnon, king of Mycenae, to travel to Troy to retrieve Helen.
The pair included Odysseus, Nestor and Ajax, with a fleet of over a thousand ships.
The siege lasted 10 years and was surrounded by fighting, fighting and the deaths of veteran figures.
This ended when the Greek forces withdrew from their camp, leaving a large wooden horse outside the gates of Troy. The bemused Trojans dragged the ‘gift’ into the city, but when night came, a group of Greek warriors marched and besieged Troy from within.
The story is repeated over time, most famously in Homer’s Iliad, which recounts the story of Odysseus’ visit to the home of Ichaca.
For centuries, it was widely believed that both the war and the city were mythical.
However, most scholars now believe that Troy was real in what is now Hisarlik in Turkey. ,
