Full Moon in Aquarius – circle without dot
On August 12, 2022 we have a Full Moon in Aquarius,
When our full Moon is in Aquarius, the Moon is in Aquarius, and the Sun is in Leo.
of the sun- Leo’s lord planet The – symbol is a circle with a dot in the middle. The dot inside the circle is our identity, which makes us different from others. That’s what Leo energy is all about being special.
What about Aquarius? Aquarius is a circle without a dot.
Imagine being part of a circle. The circle is the safe place where everyone is involved. No one is “more special” than the other.
Now imagine that you are part of this safe circle and you step inside the circle. This is healthy Leo energy. Your like-minded group has your back. In the protection of the circle, you can express yourself. You can be yourself.
We need this safe Kumbh space to be ourselves. If we feel insecure, if we are not, if we are not part of a community, then we cannot be ourselves, express ourselves creatively. We need to be part of a group that ‘has our back’. That’s why Leo needs an Aquarius.
Of course, Aquarius needs a Leo too. A circle without a dot is just a circle. A place of infinite creativity, of infinite potential – but a place where nothing happens. At some point, when the time is right, we need to move on and step inside the circle.
How can we find the safe place where we are free to be ourselves?
Full Moon in Aquarius – Aspects
Poornima is at 19° Aquarius and it sees both its rulers: it is combined saturn (traditional ruler) at 22° Aquarius and it’s square uranus (modern ruler) at 18° Taurus.
Hence the rulers of Purnima are opposite to each other.
The full moon in Aquarius highlights the conflict between Saturn and Uranus. There is a part of us that seeks structure, and there is another part of us that seeks freedom.
There is a part of us that needs predictability, and a part of us that needs unpredictability. One part of us needs a safety net, and another part needs the excitement of knowing what’s next.
And the conflict between these 2 parts not only reveals very important things about us, and our deepest motivations – but can also help us find more authentic ways of living our lives.
The full moon in Aquarius raises questions”Can I live a life where I feel safe and free at the same time?,
Yesterday I saw a huge blue bird flying by the sea. I really had to pinch myself – I’ve never seen a bird of such size and such a bright color in my life.
I left the house to take a closer look and as I got closer I realized it was a parrot – a blue and gold macaw,

These parrots are 30 to . belong to 36 inches (75 to 90 cm) Long and live up to 60-70 years.
The parrot flew here and there for about half an hour, and then returned, landing on its master’s arm.
The parrot was certainly happy – not the usual caged bird. They were regularly taken out to enjoy the empty open space. And it made me think of Saturn in Aquarius and full moon in square Uranus.
How can we reconcile our need for structure and certainty, with our need for freedom and unpredictability?
It seemed that the parrot was the best of two worlds.
We can also have the best of 2 worlds. We fasten our seat belts when we go for rollercoaster rides. We enjoy the thrill of riding because we know our seatbelts are on.
Once we figure out the Saturn side of the equation, the independence of Uranus follows, not vice versa. We cannot be free unless we first control Saturn.
Paradoxically, independence is the result of not being free for a long time, compromising and delaying gratification. Authenticity comes when we learn how to fit in and play to the rules. Success comes when we are busy working on becoming the best possible version of ourselves.
Full Moon Saturn in Aquarius comes with the promise that the freedom and liberation of Aquarius is indeed possible – if we do it right, don’t take shortcuts and stay committed to the path.
