The new moon of August in Virgo gives an abundance of energy

Virgos love to sharpen their pencils and go back to school and work. This August 27th Virgo New Moon is a sign to jump back in your saddle—and start putting things in order! Mars, who is currently in Gemini, will be the major player in this story. With Sun and Moon working in a precise square, it will mean business. Mars will give us no choice but to engage in very busy energies.

Virgo deserves the limelight in the story of the new moon of August. Understanding the way it likes to operate will benefit and help us tap into what’s being asked of us this time of year. Virgo is a minimalist who likes to come prepared with a plan, get back to work, create order, and clean up the chaos. There’s also a little escape artist in it. The funny thing, though, is that it prefers to avoid doing something that will result versus landing in imaginary land. Virgo appreciates rushing into projects, organization, synthesis and of course cleaning! This is the sign that can be quite easily enchanted by any kind of work!

We will have the ability to communicate effectively and act with our words. You may find yourself wondering how capable you will be. Mercury’s support can also help us to plan effectively and gain the support of allies. After all, Libra is a great networker.

But one thing from the wise… Mercury is currently moving in its shadow period. It will turn retrograde on September 9th – which means all your current plans may go through a few turns before being resolved again!

Mercury has entered its shadow zone on the 25th of Virgo – to look back and complete our transformation into Libra and Virgo
