June 16, 2022: Long Term Gains — Ruby Slipper Astrology
Carrying on the themes of the June 14 full moon, Sun square Neptune/trine Saturn reinforces an illusion and reality. Escapism, deceit or confusion about facts will undermine your purpose. But the rules/responsibilities will keep you focused on what is true.
Square is a strong aspect so the illusion will be more powerful. But you always have a choice (Gemini) – you are not blind or naive. Stick with what you know is true. play by the rules.
Here is a matter of denial – two types. Neptune is a denial of reality. Shani’s denial is about what you can’t have, where you shouldn’t. Denial of options. Neptune is more attractive but Saturn is the one you can count on. And we see that emphasized in the waning inconjunct with the Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon: an uneasy reminder that some boundaries/responsibilities must now be unified. There is work to be done. You may want to walk away and forget that it exists, but a little healthy denial (otherwise known as moderation and maturity) is called for.
Venus at the North Node offers a reward for your acceptance of reality. What you want/love is very real and could be a part of your future. But to get there you have to involve yourself in practical, physical issues. Take care of your body and money. Head to your garden. Choose what aligns with your values/safety (or enhance what you value to yourself). If you get confused which messages are true or which messengers are reliable, look for evidence and commitment over hollow promises and fiction. It’s that easy. It is about long term benefits.
Fantasy is more exciting but something you can trust, something you can touch, is far more beautiful and satisfying than empty illusions.
